A Seniors Helping Seniors Franchise Brings 4 New Territories to Oklahoma City

Backed by twenty-five years of non-profit leadership experience, this new venture aligns with the candidate's personal mission as well as his professional resume. He is eager to serve the communities of Edmond, OKC East, OKC West, and Cleveland County through the unique Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care model.

His background is in humanitarian work, with his most recent position being that of National Director of Corporate Partnerships at Feed the Children. Prior to that, he worked in higher education under several roles, including VP of University Development, VP of Advancement, Director of Alumni Relations, and Director of Campus Ministry. 

 This laundry list of work demonstrates his passion for community improvement. As further evidence of his commitment, he also serves on the board of Skyline Urban Ministries and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Central Oklahoma Volunteer Administrators, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and West Oklahoma Rotary Club.

With a degree in Biblical Studies and a Master’s in Theological Studies, his twenty-five-year journey is built around his strong faith. He continues to exercise this faith through roles like Worship Leader at Acts 2 United Methodist Church and Unit Chaplain for Troop 226 of the Boy Scouts of America. He is flanked on this path by his wife and their three children.

To date, the Seniors Helping Seniors® franchise has over 150 operating territories in more than thirty states. Its unique in-home care model matches care receivers with compassionate, active seniors who lend a helping hand. The franchise expects to double in size by the year 2025.

Outside of medical care, Seniors Helping Seniors® caregivers provide a broad range of services, including companionship, light housework, and meal planning. In addition, they provide personal care, like dressing, bathing, and mobility assistance. Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home services also offer specialty care options for care receivers with Alzheimer’s or Dementia, and those that require overnight and 24/7 assistance.
