He began his military career in 1982, serving four years in the Marine Corps, followed by a 27-year Army career, retiring as a Colonel in 2015. His roles included Supply Administration Clerk, Nuclear, Biological & Chemical Officer, Military Police Officer, Civil Affairs Officer, and Foreign Area Officer, with assignments across multiple continents and two combat tours.
Since retiring, he has served as a civilian leader for the Department of Defense, holding positions such as Division Chief at U.S. Southern Command and Liaison Officer to French and British Ministries of Defense. A graduate of Florida Atlantic University and Troy State University, he also completed the French Army Staff College. Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, he brings extensive leadership and international experience to his role.
