Hello IFPG Members,
I wanted to personally share an exciting leadership update at IFPG.
I'm pleased to announce that Matt Otskey, our Chief Operating Officer, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of IFPG.
Next month marks four years since Matt joined IFPG. During that time, he has proven himself to be an exceptional leader and has earned the trust of our team, our consultant members, franchisor partners, vendor partners, our Board, and my complete trust.
Prior to joining IFPG, Matt spent eight years with a leading franchise platform company, where he supported brands including Coldwell Banker, Century 21, ERA Real Estate, and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. During that time, he led initiatives across franchise development, franchise operations, and corporate development.
Over the past four years, Matt has been involved in many of the key initiatives that have helped shape IFPG's growth, including the acquisitions of Franchise Business Review and Business Alliance, the development of Franchise Ignition, and Franchise Atlas.
At the same time, I'll be transitioning into the role of Executive Chairman, Head of M&A and Corporate Development, where my focus will be on growing the IFPG platform through acquisitions and corporate development. In addition to my role on IFPG's Board of Directors I'll continue with the IFA Supplier Forum Advisory Board and NASAA's Franchise and Business Opportunities Project Groups, where I contribute to the industry's evolving regulatory landscape.
I also want to be very clear: I'm not going anywhere. I will be at Retreat in a few weeks. This is not a retirement, nor is it a step back. I've made a long-term commitment to IFPG, and I'm as excited about our future today as I've ever been. I will continue to be actively involved in the business, working closely with Matt, our leadership team, our members, and our franchisor partners. This transition simply allows Matt to focus on leading the day-to-day business while I focus on growing the IFPG platform and creating long-term value for our members, franchisor partners, and the entire organization.
