Ron Taylor

Ron started in the franchise industry after touring the U.S and Canada as a singer/musician. In 1979 he was named VP of Franchising with the largest Motivation and Goal Setting company in the world, out of Waco, TX. In 1984 he co-founded and franchised Wee Win Toys, based in Houston, TX. that had over 350 franchisees nationwide.

In 1992 he was called to Baltimore, Maryland to help build and franchise, what would become the largest Sales and Management training franchise in America.

After 40 years of helping over 1,000 people to start their own business, Ron decided it was time to “Be His Own Boss” and became a Franchise Consultant with the #1 consulting company in the U.S., IFPG. He wanted his company to promote Christian principles and named it, Waymaker Franchise Group.

He understands that selling is 70% listening, which is what we do as franchise consultants. He loves speaking with anyone who feels it’s time to break away from the corporate handcuffs and look behind the curtain at Self-employment options.

He tells all of his clients that if they are willing to suffer the “short term discomfort” of starting a business, the long-term benefits can be amazing.

Ron and his wife of 50 years, Vonda, are parents to two children. Grandparents to nine and about to be a Great Grandparents.

Ron says, “The beauty of owning your own business is that there is always time for family”.
