Bloomin’ Blinds is thrilled to enter the Philadelphia, PA metro market! The new owners are ready to be the go-to blind installation and repair business in the Northeast Philadelphia suburbs.
After more than 15 years as a school-based senior leader and executive, the IFPG Consultant's candidate was in search of his next venture. For the past 13 years, he has led a K-12 urban charter school in Trenton, New Jersey. While there, he led the growth of the organization as it grew its student enrollment by more than 550% to serve more than 1,000 students. During his tenure, the school earned the reputation as one of the top charter schools in New Jersey and earned a 92nd percentile comparison amongst all schools in New Jersey on the most recent ranking.
Prior to that, he served as the Founding Middle and High School Principal at an English immersion private school in the Dominican Republic. As a 2003 Teach for America corps member, he taught math and science in the Bronx and the Dominican Republic prior to becoming an administrator and was selected as Teacher of the Year in 2007.
From his very first discussion with Bloomin’ Blinds, he saw the tremendous opportunity to serve his community while building a great financial future for his family. Upon his trip to Dallas for Confirmation Day where he met the three brothers who started it all, Kelsey, Kris, and Kevin, he knew this was the “franchise family” he wanted to be a part of!
While in Dallas, he was able to tour the new Bloomin’ Blinds corporate office and their world-class training facility, complete with a mock home allowing franchisees to experience an install and repair. He also got to meet the (ever-growing) in-house support team, see the new call center that will help with converting leads, and learn more about a day in a life of a Bloomin’ Blinds franchisee.
The rest is history! He is starting with 1 territory with plans to fund 3 more territories in the near future!
