The IFPG Consultant Candidates moved from Atlanta, GA, to the Indianapolis, IN, area in 2019, along with their two children. Since relocating from a larger metropolis to a smaller city, the question, "Do you know what we need here?" kept popping up between the two. He is the Vice President of Residential Sales for a fiber optic internet company, and she is a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer for a bank. Both decided they could start a business to help strengthen the local economy and prepare them for retirement. She felt there was a need for a local professional networking group, which she launched in June 2022.
The group has grown quickly and prioritizes supporting the community. They have held community coat drives, blood drives, and canned food drives and donated funds to a local food pantry. The group sponsored three foster children in December to provide Christmas presents for the foster family. Giving back to the community is something that the candidates are passionate about, and through their networking group, they have found a way to stay active in helping local charity organizations within their community.
When a franchise recruiter reached out to them, they took it as a sign that maybe they should start really investigating whether opening a business in the greater Indianapolis area made sense. After learning about over a dozen franchise opportunities, the couple dialed into Zoom Drain.
