With 24 years of experience as a franchisee, franchisor, franchise investor and supplier, Michael has a
unique perspective on what it takes to achieve success for entire franchise systems.

In 1989, Haith became a franchisee of a new restaurant system. With no Operations Manual, Training or
Support, Michael quickly learned the trials and tribulations of franchising. After turning the tables and
being part of the buy-out of the franchisor, Pour la France! Catering is one of the largest catering
companies in Colorado. Pour la France! After almost 25 years, Michael sold Pour la France! Catering.

Michael took the helm of an emerging franchisor as the managing partner of Maui Wowi Hawaiian
which he subsequently grew to over 450 units worldwide and after almost 20 years just sold it to Kahala
Brands.

He had caught the ‘bug’ of start-up franchising and founded Franchise Sherpas, an incubator and
investment firm devoted to the partnership and development of emerging franchisors.

Today we find Michael as the Chairman-Mentor of Six separate brands; Maui Wowi Hawaiian, Franchise
Sherpas, Doc Popcorn (which recently sold to Dippin Dots), Kidcreate, Raintree Franchise Sales Agency
which helps emerging franchisors recruit franchisees and most recently he purchased Teriyaki Madness, one of the fastest-growing fast casual concepts in the country.
