Junk King Franchise Cost and Requirements for 2024

Background

Junk King is a full-service, B2B and B2C junk hauling and junk removal company founded in 2005 in Burlingame, CA. We have since grown to 170 locations across the US and Canada. Our focus on reusing, repurposing, and recycling up to 60% of what we haul away is one of the biggest factors that sets us apart from our competitors. Our franchise owners are passionate about the environment and want to make a difference in their communities.

Junk King is also proud to offer dumpster rental services for customers who prefer to do the hauling themselves. Our dumpsters are 12 cubic yards and easily fit in most driveways, making our dumpsters a great option for residential customers.

Our business is easy to start and scale! All franchise owners start with one truck, a warehouse, and 2-3 part time employees. Every facet of the business is supported by our corporate team, from our Franchise Business Consultants, to our National Call Center, to our National Accounts team. This, combined with our low investment and quick start-up, makes Junk King a great franchise option to consider!

When evaluating a franchise opportunity, reading and understanding the current version of their FDD is a necessity. Considering the benefits of franchising, such as established brand recognition and support from the franchisor, it's important to also take into account franchise fees and franchising royalty fees. Since most franchisors are privately owned companies, the current versions of their FDDs are typically not available unless requested directly from them.
