Hemp Farmacy Franchise Cost and Requirements for 2024

Background

The Hemp Farmacy, Inc. franchise opportunity grants potential single and multi-unit store operators access to a turn-key model for hemp and cannabinoid infused products for retail sales. Our franchise model is founded in education and customer service, ensuring our franchisees become a definitive resource for all things hemp within their communities.

Hemp Farmacy stores distinguish themselves by providing one-on-one customer service and offering expertise on hemp-related products, including products containing hemp-derived cannabidiol. Your Hemp Farmacy franchise will sell hemp-related products, including products comprised of hemp extracts, and accessories to the general public.

To the greatest extent possible, your franchise will only carry products made in USA. Your franchise will also provide general education, advocacy, and outreach regarding hemp and hemp-related topics, including the potential uses for hemp-derived products and cannabidiol, and will provide one-on-one consultative sales services to individual customers. The market for retail stores specializing in hemp- and cannabidiol-based products is relatively new and currently experiencing rapid growth.

Training: Before you open your store, your "Principal Operator" (see Item 15) will attend our initial training program in Wilmington, North Carolina, or some other location assigned by us. We will provide approximately ten days of training for the Principal Operator (although the specific number of days may vary depending on our opinion of your experience and needs). The Principal Operator must complete the entire training program to our satisfaction no later than 30 days before your store opens.

Our fee for the initial training program is currently $2,000, but this only applies to repeat training programs or if the program is conducted at a location other than Raleigh or Wilmington, North Carolina.

If you delegate day-to-day management responsibilities to a "General Manager," we may require that person also to successfully complete training before the appointment takes effect. We will also provide training to such person if you request it. General Manager training will be similar in scope to the initial training provided to your Principal Operator, although it may be reduced depending on the breadth of the General Manager's responsibilities. Our current fee for training General Managers is $2,000 plus our travel .
Other Info: In November 2016, Hempleton Investment Group opened its first retail store under the Hemp Farmacy brand in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Hempleton Investment Group launched three more outlets in North Carolina between 2017 and 2019. As of 2019, Hempleton Investment Group owns and operates only these four Hemp Farmacy stores ("Company-Owned Stores"), which range in size from 800 to 2000 square feet of floor space. In 2018, Hempleton Investment Group formed The Hemp Farmacy, Inc. for the purpose of offering and selling Hemp FarmacySM franchises.
