Knockouts Haircuts & Grooming Franchise Cost and Requirements for 2026

Background

Knockouts Haircuts & Grooming built a category of its own in 2003: premium men's grooming inside a sports bar meets barbershop environment, complete with complimentary beer and beverages served right in the salon. Every visit turns into an experience, not a transaction, and that's exactly why our clients come back every few weeks instead of every few months. We serve men ages 22 to 55 who are investing in how they look and feel, offering haircuts alongside beard care, facial treatments, scalp massages, and grooming add-ons that drive repeat visits and strong ticket averages. Every Client, Every Time isn't just a tagline, it's the standard our brand is built on.

This is a business built for owners, not stylists. Knockouts runs on a manager led model, meaning you don't need a cosmetology license, salon experience, or a chair of your own to own a Knockouts. Your job is to lead the business: hire and develop a strong manager and team, watch your numbers, run local marketing, and grow. That's it. Whether you're coming from corporate America, another industry entirely, or you already run multiple businesses, Knockouts gives you a proven system to step into rather than a concept to figure out.

You won't be building this alone. Our in-house real estate and construction team has helped stand up more than 50 Knockouts locations across the country, guiding you through site selection, buildout, and a Turn Key Package that arrives ready to open, covering equipment, fixtures, signage, your POS system, and your grand opening marketing. From day one, our training team is on-site working alongside your management team, and that support doesn't stop once you're open. Every owner has access to ongoing coaching, quarterly leadership calls, and a marketing engine funded by our Brand Development Fund that keeps new promotions and creative flowing to every location, every month.

Knockouts is scaling fast, growing from 50 to 100 open locations over the next few years, and we're looking for owners who want to grow with us. Our leadership team has lived this business from the ground up. CEO Nathan White built his track record as a Knockouts franchisee before taking ownership of the brand and still owns locations today. President Heather Sorrells and VP Chelsi Lee both started as working stylists before stepping into leadership. If you're looking for a business with a proven model, a real support system, and room to build something bigger than one location, Knockouts is worth a serious conversation.

No cosmetology background is required of the owner. Once open, owners join quarterly franchise-wide team calls with leadership and fellow operators, while managers stay plugged into ongoing coaching calls and refresher training. New products, systems, and marketing plays roll out continuously with corporate training support behind every one.

When evaluating a franchise opportunity, reading and understanding the current version of their FDD is a necessity. Considering the benefits of franchising, such as established brand recognition and support from the franchisor, it's important to also take into account franchise fees and franchising royalty fees. Since most franchisors are privately owned companies, the current versions of their FDDs are typically not available unless requested directly from them.
