What Matters For Kids is a hands-on enrichment program that began in 2008 when we observed a lack of science enrichment programs available at the preschool and early elementary school age level. WMFK teaches S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. (Science. Technology. Engineering. (Art). Math.) to children in local education centers near the franchisee's home base. What Matters For Kids allows children to extrapolate the concepts from what we do and apply them to other life learning activities. Sure, kids get to blow bubbles in one of our lessons, but they also learn new vocabulary such as sphere, consistency and molecules AND learn the scientific method and how it can be applied to everyday questions that they have about bubbles! All while having fun and maybe getting a little messy.

Support and Training Offered By What Matters For Kids

Training: Franchise owners have access to a comprehensive lesson plan library with hands on experiments and a unique process of engaging students to achieve that "Aha" moment that lights up their face. We offer a three day training to become familiar with the program which includes class observations and a step by step marketing plan for approaching schools and selling classes.
