Waffles Brothers was founded in 2006 and specializes in waffles. The brand's menu includes four types of waffles (original, gluten-free original, traditional, and cranapple muffin) as well as Da Cherry Bomb, Allie Cat, Full Monte, and more. In Spring of 2006, the brand started to research and develop a Liege Waffle recipe. After taking many street waffle recipes from Belgium, importing authentic “sugar nibs,” and testing recipe, the team came up with the “one!” In the Summer of 2007, the team brought the original waffle to the streets of Denver, Colo. To do this, they attended all the fairs, festivals and farmers markets that they could handle. The brand's first waffle cart was opened on the 16th Street Mall. After much encouragement, they opened its first brick and mortar location in the Spring of 2010. Waffle Brothers has two locations in Denver.
Waffle Brothers locations sell over 30 toppings, breakfast sandwiches and plates, gourmet sandwiches, expresso and coffee (as well as other cold drinks). Customers will appreciate the brand's Keto plate, gluten-free and vegan options. The 1707 Pub Style Lafayette location sells beer, wine, and mimosas as well as tenders, wings, fries, and brussel sprouts. The brand offers catering and handles business and personal catering-with over 250 jobs every year. The team loves to accommodate any special requests, but generally has three options:
