You Need Pie! Diner & Bakery

The You Need Pie! Diner & Bakery franchise is a bakery and 1950s style restaurant concept. The brand's mission is to deliver guests consistency with generational service, atmosphere, and recipes. It follows this by constantly asking itself, “Would grandma be proud?” and if the answer is no, the brand simply will not execute it. This is the type of model that You Need Pie! aims to streamline in the franchise journey. Franchisees benefit from a proven business model and should be dedicated to customer service and have an entrepreneurial spirit. The initial franchise fee is $35,000, and the minimum estimated cost is $157,950.

You Need Pie! Diner & Bakery Franchise Cost and Requirements for 2024

You Need Pie! was inspired by the founders learning to cook from their mothers and grandmothers "the old fashioned way" with real ingredients from real recipes. Those recipes and processes are used at You Need Pie! today and have been handed down through the generations. The founders come from the corporate world and were looking for something different, so they left their corporate jobs and entered the pie business on a whim. They started small and began to build sales and a reputation greatly by giving out free samples to people who would later continue to come back. One-on-one marketing really worked for them. After five years at a pie shop and bakery only, the brand expanded into the American dinner concept that it is today.
The brand is ready to expanded with qualified franchise partners across the country. Its mantra and guiding principle is represented on the menu and throughout the shop with the acronym WGBP. This stands for "Would Grandma Be Proud?" You Need Pie! asks itself that question every day in every aspect of the business. This is the litmus test used when making daily decisions. In addition to being a bakery, You Need Pie! is a 1950s style American restaurant that has a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. While it makes 80 types of pie, about 20-30 are in rotation daily. Customers enjoy having so many options. All pies are made in-house from scratch every day. Quality is the most important aspect. Franchisees should be passionate and dedicated.
